Pier Luigi Giai was born in Bussoleno (TO) in 1940, raised in a small farmers family.

Once he finished his college studies, after three years of professional training he got his mechanical qualification and he started working in a factory.

In 1964, he decided to leave his work, as factory worker and to create his own small farm.  Here he started breeding chickens, then pigs and finally Limousine cattles.

In 1975 his Farm has been the first one to invest in direct selling in the whole Valley, opening the slaughterhouse and the butcher shop. Initially the idea got success but, in the earlies ‘90s, with the opening of several new supermakets, the demand dropped dramatically.

So that the owner and the family decided to try a new way, the Farm Guest House, opening in 2013 the doors of the new businnes.
